چکیده
This paper deals with the dynamic modeling, analysis, 4 and statistical signal processing of the ion channel switch biosen5 sor. The electrical dynamics are described by a second-order linear 6 system. The chemical kinetics of the biosensor response to analyte 7 concentration in the reaction-rate-limited regime are modeled by 8 a two-timescale nonlinear system of differential equations. Also, 9 the analyte concentration in the mass-transport-influenced regime 10 is modeled by a partial differential equation subject to a mixture 11 of Neumann and Dirichlet boundary conditions. By using the the12 ory of singular perturbation, we analyze the model so as to pre13 dict the performance of the biosensor in transient and steady-state 14 regimes. Finally, we outline the use of statistical signal processing 15 algorithms that exploit the biosensor dynamics to classify analyte 16 concentration. 17

Application of Signal Processing Tools for Fault Diagnosis in Induction Motors-A Review-Part II
The use of efficient signal processing tools (SPTs) to extract proper indices for the fault detection in induction motors (IMs) is the essential part of any fault recognition procedure. The 2nd part of this two-part paper is, in turn, divided into two parts. Part two covers the signal processing techniques which can be applied to non-stationary conditions. In this paper, all utilized SPTs for n...
متن کاملSelf-Fields Effects on Gain in a Helical Wiggler Free Electron Laser with Ion-Channel Guiding and Axial Magnetic Field
In this paper, we have investigated the effects of self-fields on gain in a helical wiggler free electron laser with axial magnetic field and ion-channel guiding. The self-electric and self-magnetic fields of a relativistic electron beam passing through a helical wiggler are analyzed. The electron trajectories and the small signal gain are derived. Numerical investigation is shown that for grou...
متن کاملApproximate Dynamic Analysis of Structures for Earthquake Loading Using FWT
Approximate dynamic analysis of structures is achieved by fast wavelet transform (FWT). The loads are considered as time history earthquake loads. To reduce the computational work, FWT is used by which the number of points in the earthquake record are reduced. For this purpose, the theory of wavelets together with filter banks are used. The low and high pass filters are used for the decompositi...
